Biographie

Richard Sennett enseigne la sociologie à la London School of Economics et à l'Université de New York. Il est également romancier et musicien.

Déjà parus aux Editions Albin Michel : Le Travail sans qualités (2000), Respect. De la dignité de l'homme dans un monde d'inégalité (2003) et La Culture du nouveau capitalisme (2006).

Il a reçu de nombreux prix pour son oeuvre.

He is Visiting Professor of Urban Studies at Harvard. Among other awards, he has received the Hegel Prize, the Spinoza Prize and the Centennial Medal from Harvard University.>
