Biographie

Né à Smyrne en 1930, normalien Ulm, agrégé de philosophie, André Tubeuf l'a enseignée trente-cinq ans en khâgne. Le reste du temps, il apprenait, en l'écoutant, la musique que l'éloignement, la guerre, d'autres études ensuite l'avaient empêché d'apprendre comme tout le monde. Le meilleur de ses innombrables chroniques dans la presse française, Le Point, Diapason puis Classica, et à la radio a été réuni en Offrande musicale (Laffont, coll. « Bouquins », 2007).
