Biographie

Larry McMurtry est né en 1936, au Texas. Six de ses best-sellers ont été adaptés à l'écran, notamment La Dernière Séance et Tendres passions.
Son roman Lonesome Dove a obtenu le prix Pulitzer en 1986 et l'auteur a reçu un Oscar pour le scénario du Secret de Brokeback Mountain en 2006. Larry McMurtry vit à Archer City, au Texas, où il a ouvert une des plus grandes librairies indépendantes des États-Unis.
